Hello Holly,
Just wanted to give you a little update on Smokie. First of all,
Thank
you for giving us the best dog in the whole world. He has
already brought both my
husband and myself so much joy and laughter.
He's super affectionate and just loves
to snuggle. He loves playing
with his squeeky toys and chew toys. He knows all of
them by name!
He's very healthy and just loves to run around. He's so fast, that
it
sometimes worries me that he'll get away when we're outdoors.
My parents love him
so much already. They never thought they'd be
small dog lovers, but they call to
see if they could puppysit when we
go out!!! I'm trying to convince them to get a
little companion for
Smokie to visit at their house! I check your site periodically,
and
you've got some really adorable little pups. Congrats on winning at
your shows.
Smokie was so excited to see the newest G.W. Little catalog featuring
his daddy and
old friends from California! Imagine that....his
dad...a surfer! Well, I guess the
sporty side has run in the family.
Smokie is becoming a biker dog! ha ha My husband
enjoys riding
motorcycles and we've seen several dogs (mostly medium sized ones)
that enjoy riding as well. So, we got Smokie a safety harness and
sling and a cool
pair of doggles and we go for rides. I'll have to
get you a picture when I get one
of the three of us on the bike. It's
hysterical!
He's all up to date with his vaccinations
and our vet thinks he's in
great shape. He's started to be a "randy" little guy and
signs of
maturity have been showing. So, yesterday, the poor little guy
underwent
his neutering surgery. Everything went perfectly. When I
brought him home in the
afternoon, he was back to his old self. It's
going to be difficult to try to convince
him to take it easy these
next few days. I've attached a copy of the paperwork for
your records.
Thanks again!

Hey Holly,
Layla is doing fantastic, she's such a little attention hog. When we sit
at the kitchen table for dinner, and she isn't up on one of our laps, she barks (we
call it yelling) at us until one of us picks her up to sit on our laps. She hasn't
grown much. She is so tiny with the personality of something twenty times her size.
Her tail is always going a mile a minute. I can't tell you how I lived my life before
I got her, she brings so much happiness everywhere she goes. My grandfather has a
pool in his backyard, and we've been over there a lot over the summer, and she loves
to jump in the pool with me and cool down, while my other two babies just hang out
by the steps and look at the water. She is AWESOME.
Here's some pictures of her, feel
free to use them on your website.
Hope everything is going well on your side of the
country.
